Henry's people dropped him off at a shelter because they had no more time for him. The shelter had him on their euthanasia list but called Cascade Beagle Rescue for help. We pulled him and saw that this gentle soul needed immediate medical attention so we took him to one of our veterinary partners. Ringo's ears were so infected that no ear canal was visible. They were full of pus and blood. His coat was filthy and his teeth were the worst our vet had ever seen. He also had a golf ball sized tumor on his neck that turned out to be benign. During surgery to remove the growth and deep clean his ears, most of his teeth simply fell out into the vet's hands as she tried to clean them. 14 of them, in fact. He may be deaf or close to being deaf from the severe infection in his ears. Why would anyone want this dog? Because he is as sweet as sugar! He's QUIET, loving and right now very afraid. He is away from the only home he's ever known and he's wondering if anyone will ever come forward to adopt him. Will you?
