My Story

Heather was born in rescue to Jillian, a social female Pyr who came to us from a backyard breeder. She and her littermates are sweet, healthy, and playful pups. Heather can be bossy with other dogs, and she's best matched with a confident male dog her size and experienced owners. There were at least three dad's in this litter, and the DNA test results are a supermutt blend of common rural Carolina strays: hound, lab, beagle, and pibble. They act like Pyrs -- they are their mama's pups for sure! They look and sound more like little hounds! We think they are Pyrfect! Speaking of size, they are smaller for mixes, and we expect them to top out in the 70 lbs. range. They are ready for their furever homes now! To meet the "Pyrtaters" as we are calling them, please read our policies and fill out an application at carolinapyrrescue.com.
