HEATHER is a beautiful purebred Bernese Mt Dog girl. She could be AKC registered with an ILP/PAL number. ~~
Gentle, sweet, calm, mellow, tho is still a bit shy w/ strangers. Loving and affectionate w/ those she knows. Get along great with all other dogs and ignores our cat. Making progress on housetraining. Is crate trained. She is too gentle and soft a dog to be happy in a home w/ the noise and chaos of young children. ~~ We rescued her 10 days ago from a puppy mill "breeder" in Aracadia OH (near Dayton OH.) She had an exam and check up on 1/7/2010 with my vet and complete bloodwork was done, all was normal, including thyroid, negative for heartworm. She has been vaccinated and wormed, is working on gaining some weight then will be ready for her her spay appt, she is being fostered here in my home in central OH. ~~ Naturally we require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions and certainly never those shock collar based "invisible fencing systems."
