My Story

Heath is a 6 week old, 3 lb male Terrier/Chihuahua mixed breed. Heath is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. This sweet little cupcake is Heath, one of the two runts in the litter. Heath and his brother Huxley are smaller than their siblings, and seem more Chihuahua than the rest of the litter. Heath is a total sweetheart of a pup: calm, laid back, a cuddler and a quiet boy at heart. He likes to play and romp with the pups, but he doesn't display the crazy energy levels of some of the more active pups. Which is great if you're looking for a more mellow pup to serve as a companion and not as entertainment. Heath is crate trained and hangs out in a large playpen, and is starting to venture out into the backyard. He uses potty pads and is beginning to learn to go potty outdoors. He is too young to venture outside the backyard on a leash, so walking will have to wait for now. This little guy may be small, but he has a big heart and is well socialized, having spent most of his life in a loving foster home surrounded by his mom, siblings, bigger and smaller dogs, a cat and children, all of whom have rained love on this cutie. He is almost ready to venture to his forever home, so if a quiet and mellow pup peaks your interest, ask to meet Heath, you won't be disappointed! (Note: Heath is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport). Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $700 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation) If interested in learning more, please email us at [email protected] or fill out our online application. https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.
