SPECIAL NEEDS: None Hi there, my name is Hazel, and I am a Very Sweet Girl! I was found wandering a foreset preserve with Snickers, and after spending plenty of time waiting for a family to come get me, my time was up. That's when I came to Young at Heart! It was originally thought that Snickers and I were bonded as that's what the shelter told everybody, but the more we adjusted here at Young at Heart, the more it became obvious that we really annoy each other. So when I had to have some medical stuff done, we were separated to see how we would do, and guess what? We were both WAY happier! So here I am, all my medical stuff done and ready for a forever home! Now, I may be at a "senior" rescue, but I am far from senior! I have LOTS of pep and would make an excellent running buddy, hiking buddy, and adventure buddy for you! I'm learning leash manners right now, so I will need someone with some muscle as I figure out how to pay attention to people vs squirrels, bunnies, and birds! I'm still very puppy-like! But I LOVE to please my human friends, and am very treat motivated. I get along with other dogs, especially if they are playful but not dominant, but am too much for kitties. I love to run like the wind through the yard! Oh! And I love to play fetch! Will you play fetch with me? Pretty please? I am a gorgeous girl with a pure heart and a joy for life, and I would love to find someone who wants a happy, goofy buddy to make them laugh every day. That's me!
