Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Haven! Haven is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up! Meet Haven! Haven is estimated to be about 3-4 years old and currently weighs 60 pounds. Haven is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find a family to call her own! Haven is dog friendly and currently lives with another dog in her foster home. Haven does require slow introductions to other dogs, but once she feels safe with another dog, she'll be their best friend! Haven loves to play and we would describe her as a low - medium energy level as she tires easily. Haven currently lives in an apartment and a lot of stray cats hang around her foster home. Her foster says that she just wants to play with the cats, but she has never been aggressive towards them. Her foster family thinks that she would be able to live in a home with a cat. We would be happy to officially cat test her for any potential family. Haven is kid friendly! She has been exposed to an 8 year old boy in her foster home and she does well with him! Haven honestly loves people of all ages or sizes! She will always greet you with tail wags and kisses. Haven walks well on a leash! For the most part, she will walk calmly by your side. Haven does react when she sees other dogs. She barks and pulls. We are currently working on her with this issue and will continue to support any adopter with training support included with her adoption. Haven is fully potty trained and does not have any accidents inside the home! She is also crate trained and stays in her crate when her foster mom is at work or out running errands. She goes straight into her crate when asked and sits for you while you shut the door. She has also been left to free roam and she does well with this too! She just relaxes on the couch until you return home! Here are a few of the positive things Haven's foster mom had to say about her! Haven thinks she is a lap dog and has the cutest snores while she's sleeping (she has never woken me up, it's honestly adorable). She loves snuggles on the couch and just wants to be by her human. Haven loves meeting new people and is always so excited to greet people at the door with tail wags and kisses! From Haven's foster family: "Haven is beautiful. She loves to give kisses and she knows how to sit and occasionally throws a right paw up. She loves to lounge around and would love a yard to run and play in. She gets the occasional zoomies (only outside). Inside the house, she's a total couch potato! She is the perfect mix of playful outside and calm inside!"
