My Story

Arrival story: This litter was an owner surrender along with their mom. It appears that there may have been several fathers to this litter based on their looks.

Approximate age: 8 weeks old (7/5/07 birthday)

Personality: Harry is a happy go lucky, playful puppy. He is good with other dogs, playfully curious about cats. This pup loves the water. He has already been swimming! He is still in the nipping stage and loves to biting on the legs of your pants and gets under your feet while you are walking. Harry enjoys being held and cuddled when he is settling down in the evening. Harry enjoys the company of other dogs, so he would probably do best in a home with at least one other dog. Please note, Harry will not be at any of our adoption events. Forever Home: Someone who will have the time and patience with training a new puppy to ensure they grow into well socialized and behaved adult dogs.

Contact: You can download and adoption application from our website at: www.waggintailsdogrescue.com or email [email protected] for more information.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check
www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or PetSmart in Canton (the northwest corner of Ford Rd and Haggerty Rd). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).

Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.

Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
