Harry

Harry is a very sweet, active, and young 7-year-old basset although you would never believe his age. He came to BHRG as a part of a breeding pair that were no longer useful to their “owners.” He loves people and wants to be your shadow and follow you everywhere. He LOVES to play and likes to talk to you when he wants playtime, not howling, talking. He would love to be in a home with another dog. He gets along great with cats too, although he sometimes doesn’t understand that they don’t want to play with him. He would make a great addition to any family. He loves toys and has already picked a favorite that he carries around with him everywhere. He would prefer to sit on your lap if you let him. Harry is more or less housetrained, but he is still working on his signals to let his foster parents know when he needs to go out. He is a very curious basset who seems very excited to finally be getting the attention he so desperately missed before. He is very bright and learns things very quickly.
