My Story

Harrison is an absolutely gorgeous black Labrador Retriever. He was a stray picked up by Animal Control and rescued by CARES when his time was up. He is about a year old, if even. He is friendly, happy, playful and smart! His picture does not do him justice! Harrison is heartworm positive and is not symptomatic, so our treatment is to keep him on heartworm prevention until he tests negative. This usually takes 9-12 months and is much easier on the dog.

Harrison is great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is a typical lab who just loves life and wants to share it with everyone.

He is crate trained and we do not know if he is house trained, but that would be easy with his age and the crate. He walks perfect with a Gentle Leader.

Who wants this beauty in their family?

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested, a 12-month supply of Tri-Hart heartworm prevention, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. If you would like more information on C.A.R.E.S. and our adoption process, please read our webpage by clicking on our name. Thank you!
