Harrison has found his new forever home with the Roses in Middleboro, MA
UPDATE: Harrison is being fostered by his original adopter, in Somerville, MA
Harrison has come back to our rescue after being adopted out a year ago as his family has had major changes and can no longer keep him. Harrison is a sweet 2 year old boy who was originally abandoned in the south. He has lived in a foster home with developmentally challenged children and did great with everyone! His recent family had a bunny who he also coexisted with! Is super with other dogs and OK with cats! He is a typical active sheltie boy and needs a family that will give him the exercise he loves! A fenced yard would be super for this special boy. Here is what his mom says about him:
Hi! My name is Watson. I am pretty much the cutest dog ever! I love to put one paw on people’s knees and get pats. I also really like to lick hands and sit on your lap if you are sitting on the floor.
I’m a pretty shy guy and city life is really hard for me. I really need a place where I can run around off leash everyday to build my confidence. It’s when I am happiest.
I get along really well with other dogs, once I know them. When we first meet I am shy. I like cats and ferrets, I want to get close enough to lick them, but if they turn around and walk towards me I get a little scared. I don’t bark a lot, only when I am surprised. When I am happy I make a sort of chortling sound and I really like it when you make it with me.
New people are lot for me, but once I know a person I am so happy to see them! I am not aggressive in any way. Basically I am pretty much a love dog that needs a new place to live with a yard, or even better a farm! I think I’d be great at agility because I am super fast. I know how to sit and high five, and I have a micro chip, in case I get lost, but I always know where home is.
