Harriet is a two and a half year old Border Collie X. Harriet is a very friendly, happy and outgoing girl! You should see her tail wag! She is a beautiful dog and gets compliments all the time! She is quite submissive and extremely gentle. Harriet comes from a family with children so she is great with kids. She is fantastic with people, other dogs and even cats!
Harriet is always down for whatever you are. She loves playing with her toys (especially squeaky balls and tug!) She is always up for a walk or playtime or she is happy to nap when you are watching tv. Harriet loves to play fetch and brings the ball back for you to throw it again every time. She even chases around the laser pointer with her foster home’s cats!
Harriet is a very intelligent dog. She knows sit, lie down, come, stay, and shake a paw/high five. She also listens extremely well and is always very focused on the task at hand and she loves to please! Harriet enjoys going on walks and is great both on and off leash.
Harriet is crate trained (she LOVES her crate!), housetrained, spayed, microchipped and has all her vaccinations. She sleeps quietly in her bed at night, and when her foster home is out she goes in her kennel. Harriet was given up because she previous owners no longer had time for her. She has taken agility in the past and we think she would be fantastic at it again or even flyball (she loves to play fetch)! Either way, Harriet needs a home that will exercise her physically and mentally and where she will get all the love and attention she deserves.
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!
Definitions:
Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)
On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).
Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!ent with this boy.
