Harley is a 7 month old pure bred Giant Schnauzer puppy.
Harley is Black with one gray hair on his back. His tail is docked, his ears are natural.
A Giant Schnauzer Puppy is a very rare find in Rescue!
Harley at 7 months is as large as an adult Standard Poodle. He is certainly an Extra Large " fun time kid".
Harley is naturally inquisitive and spend a good bit of time going all around his new surroundings checking it all out.
Harley and his brother, Bear were surrendered to Canine Shelter Rescue as the last 2 puppies of a litter by a breeder who no longer wanted to keep them but wanted them to be placed in loving homes.
These boys have not been in a shelter. They are strong, healthy, happy extra large puppies, who are very intelligent.
A Giant Schnauzer is not to be taken lightly. They are extra large dogs who are highly intelligent and need a job to do. They are protective of their family, fun loving and need to be Inside family members so they can interact with their people.
As large and active as they are the Giant Schnauzer who is well loved and well trained tend to be calm in the house with their family.
They need a large area to run and play in and a secure fence to keep them safe.
Because of their size, intelligence and nature, a Giant Schnauzer is more than willing to be the pack Alpha. They need a kind but firm Alpha figure as leader of the family pack.
Obedience training will be a must with this breed.
If you love the Schnauzer breed and are willing to invest the time and energy needed for this beautiful Giant Schnauzer puppy, then you might be a match for Harley. He will only be adopted as an Inside family member. Because of his Extra Large size...No Small Children, Please.
