Baby Harley (formerly Eddie) was found starving to death, under an abandoned trailer. His brother Pumpkin died in the emergency hospital from reoccurring seizures. It was heartbreaking. Harley is looking for a foster home or forever home. Prior to rescue, the county shelter tested him around other large dogs. He did well. We tested him around little dogs and he is not a good match. He seems to have some prey drive with small animals. Harley is a sweetheart with people and has been through basic training. He will make a fantastic family pet. If you choose to foster, our rescue covers all ongoing supplies and expenses. Approved adoption applicants are provided with a three-week trial period to ensure compatibility. We don't charge an adoption fee. We have a thorough application process. We prefer homeowners who have prior pet ownership experience. This is not necessarily required but is preferred. If you rent, do not contact us until you have read your rental agreement regarding pets. We will need to immediately review your contract to ensure that pets are allowed in your rental, specifically the breed and size of the dog you are applying for. We verify everything for legal reasons.
