My Story

Harley has found his forever home with Mary A. in Watertown, MA

UPDATE 2/14: Harley has been returned by his adoptive family because they were looking for more of a playmate for the 6 yr old son and Harley always wanted to be hanging around with mom! He is a sweet boy with no issues. He is now being fostered in Walpole, MA

UPDATE 1/10: Harley will be traveling north in the next week or two, so please apply for him now!

Harley is between 1-3 years old and weighs 38 lbs. He is a loveable goofy dog with the biggest feet for a Cocker Spaniel you have ever seen! He loves to run and his tail never stops wagging. He loves people and is terrific with other dogs! He would be fine with living with a cat as well as he is very gentle, quiet and sweet. He is always happy, happy, happy! He was a stray and found his way to a lady's home and lived on her porch before being brought into rescue. He is crate trained and is house trained. Harley is very sweet-tempered and would do best in a home few hours alone. His adoption fee is $350.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
