My Story

$50 Adoption Fee includes vaccinations, worming, exam, temperament test, microchip & ID tag! You can apply for me online! Carefully read over our Adoption Process first.

My Story: Harley is a very handsome Rottweiler in need of a new home. He is a neuetered male, and has the distinctive short-haired black/tan coat of a Rottweiler. He is a rather large boy, weighing in at 104#. He is 4 years old, but Harley is really a big baby. He may look quite intimidating as he's so big, and he has a very large bark to go along with his size. But inside, he's a marshmallow. If you've ever had a Rottweiler lay his big old head in your lap and go to sleep, you know what we mean when we say he's a big baby. Harley is a big apprehensive when he first meets someone new. We have had some volunteers that he didn't really like, and oddly enough, they were women. He seems to like men better, although he doesn't like men in uniform, such as Police Officers. However, once Harley has time to get to know you, he's a great dog. In spite of his size, he listens well and walks nicely on a leash. He keeps his kennel quite clean. While he does get along with some dogs, there are others that he doesn't like. Therefore, we think Harley would do best as an only dog. If you'd like to meet our resident big baby, stop on down to the Shelter. If you think you could provide him a great new home with a nice fenced yard, apply right here online!
