UPDATE: 12/18 Many thinks to all who opened up their hearts for this little boy. He is on his way home with his new Moms and everyone is very happy. Again thank you for the wonderful outpouring of support for this boy. Remember there are so many Harley's sitting in the shelters who don't have a home for the holidays, the only difference is no one is telling their story. Please visit your local shelter and adopt a homeless pet. _______________________________ Poor Harley, he just can't catch a break. A number of people were interested in adopting him and we picked the home we thought would be best. On Saturday he met his new brother and we thought he was being picked up on Monday. On Monday he got his bath and grooming and was all decked out in his new Christmas bandana and no one came for him. Rescuers know that a pet knows when he has been selected to get a new home, their whole demeaner changes, they are no longer unwanted. Harley realized that evening that no one was coming and he hasn't been the same. We are giving him extra attention but it isn't the same as a home. If you are interested in being this boy's forever home, please email us. ________________________________ Harley's dad passed away and he was left alone in the house after the ambulance came and took his person away. Finally someone asked "What about the dog". Many thanks to those who remembered him and saw to it he was safe. Adopt A Pet now has a new family member who is only 12 lb, about 1 1/2 yrs old and although a little sad, very happy to have been rescued.
