Harlan Pepper

Harlan Pepper was born 1/09 and has been with our rescue since 6/2010. Harlan was surrendered by a family that could no longer care for a dog.

While still a puppy in many ways, Harlan has a moderate exercise requirement. While he would love a daily walk and possibly a slow jog, he also wouldn't mind staying in when the weather wasn't nice. Harlan gives kisses to everyone he meets and would do well in any family, he even tolerates the toddler manhandling well.

Harlan does well with other dogs and enjoys his puppy play group. He would do well in doggie daycare or at the dog park. Harlan does well with the felines at the shelter. While he is curious about them, he usually ignores them. Harlan is crate trained, we do not know if he is housebroken.

Important Information

Most of our dogs & puppies are available to meet each Saturday from 10am-2pm at Madison's eastside PETsMART. If you are interested in a specific dog or puppy, you may be able to meet the dog by appointment if you have an approved application.

COST: Adoption Fee: Adult Dogs (over 1 year of age) - $238

Puppies (under 1 year of age) - $317

We offer a $50 rebate to our adopters who complete a training class and send in proof of completion within 4 months of adoption.

Our dogs have all been spay/neuter, vaccinated to date, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. We take care of any veterinary care the animal needs to be ready for adoption.
