Hanna

Hanna is a young female Rat Terrier mix. She appears to be about 9 months old and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. She is spayed, vaccinated and wormed. Hanna came to us with no information other than her name. She is house trained, loves to walk on leash but does need more work. She wants to be close to the foster mom and is slowly getting comfortable with the man in the house. She likes to play with the other small dog who is twice her so\ize. They run and chase each other all over the secure fenced back yard. Hanna is very nervous about being left alone so she follows her foster mom all over the house. She also loves to go for rides in the car with her. She settles right down and enjoys the trip. Hanna does have some separation anxiety so she needs to find a forever family who will be able to spend a lot of time with her and take her places with them. She would also do well with another small companion dog. She is not aggressive like some small dogs are and she is not really a yapper. She does bark if she is left outdoors when she can't see her family. She has learned to lie on the back of the couch and watch the world go by. She has discovered sunbeams in the morning to warm her up. Since she is small and very shorthaired, she needs to be kept warm and will definitely need a winter coat.
