Hank is a 4 year old purebred Bernese Mt Dog. We just rescued him over the Memorial Day weekend. He will be fully vetted this week, then available for adoption after temperament assessment. So far he is very is pretty laid back -- a calm, mellow, sweet and gentle fellow. A little reserved/timid w/ new people initially, but warms up fairly quickly. ~~ Healthy except that he has been allowed to become quite chubby, so he is now on a diet and exercise program! :-) ~~ Hank will go after cats, but he is very friendly with all dogs of all sizes. ~~ NOTE: We always require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions (and certainly never just those shock collar "invisible fencing systems.")
