Hank was born 3/08 and has been with our rescue since 5/2010. He was found as a stray therefor we don't know anything about his past. When he came in he weighed 103#. He's still on the thin side but gaining weight quickly.
Hank is a super sweet pooch and a puppy at heart. He has a moderate exercise requirement and requires at least daily walks. While he absolutely adores chidren, he will nonstop knock them down as he doesn't understand his own weight. Because of this we do not recommend that he go to a home with small children or toddlers.
Hank loves his puppy play group. He's often times found rolling on his back and doing play bows. Hank would enjoy the dog park or doggie day care as good ways to burn off his puppy energy. Unfortunately Hank tries to tackle the felines at the shelter, therefore he should not go to a home with felines.
Because of Hank's size and care his adoption fee is $350 plus tax.
Important InformationMost of our dogs & puppies will be available to meet each Saturday from 10-2 at Madison's eastside PETsMART. If you are interested in a specific dog or puppy you will be able to meet the dogs by appointment as well if you have an approved application.
We offer a $50 rebate to our adopters who complete a training class and send in proof of completion within 4 months of adoption.
Our dogs have all been spay/neuter, vaccinated to date, microchipped, heartworm tested, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. We take care of any Vet care that the animal needs to be ready for adoption.
