Handsome

This young lab mix was at the Independence shelter since the end of October. He was found as a stray, was available for adoption, had rescue commit to him right before he was to be euthed, came down with kennel cough, and since rescue comitted the shelter treated him for a few weeks. Then he was healthy and ready to be released, but the rescue feel through! So, he went back to general population where he was available for adoption once again.

The shelter became full with still no one taking this sweet boy, so he was scheduled for euthanasia again. We couldn't let him die there after all his time waiting for a second chance, so we pulled him and he is now in boarding and needs a rescue or foster to step in for him. He's around 7 months old the shelter estimates and is black w/ white chest and paws. He's super friendly and can't wait to get out of a cage! Please email if you can help!
