UPDATE: AFTER TWO YEARS IN OUR CARE GYPSY HAS FINALLY FOUND HER FOREVER HOME. SHE HAS A WONDERFUL NEW MOM AND A CHIHUAHUA SISTER, NAMED BIJOUX--------------------------------I 'm a female lab/shar pei mix born around January of 2003. I get along great with all other dogs as long as they are nice to me. I'm a bit to intrested in cats, I've never tried to catch one but I'd probably do best in a home without kitties. I'm fairly laid back so I won't require a lot of exercise. I've been spayed and am up to date on shots. I found out that I am heartworm positive and will go through heartworm treatment as soon as a foster home opens up unless you would like to foster me through treatment and then officially adopt me. As if that wasn't enough, I am also one of the victims of that horrible Hurricane Katrina, but I was lucky enough to make my way to CAAWS. I'm a very sweet girl who loves to play and be petted. Word around the CAAWS building is that our human companions here will find me a good home with a loving family. I hope so, I've really had a bad year so far.
