Gus (photo #1) and Sam (photo #2) are two marvelous young boys who will double your fun in an instant! These youngsters, who are extremely fond of one another, came to us from a family where they were well loved and cared for. A new baby and military duty left little time for the “boys” and we are delighted to help find them a perfect forever home.
Light yellow, almost white, Gus is 1.5 years old and weighs a trim 86 pounds; his best friend, golden toasted marshmallow yellow Sam, is 2.5 years old and a perfect 86 pounds. They’re housetrained, know some basic commands – sit, stay and to come when called -- and are fine left alone in the house. Young, energetic and friendly they adore everyone, human or canine. With their big hearts and lovely temperaments, they’re very good with the younger set.
These outgoing boys love to play with other dogs. Walks, trips to the park and of course swimming are all on their list of favorites. Messing around with tennis balls is pretty high on the list too! Thoroughly good-natured, they pretty much take life in stride and are good sports about baths and brushing. Our volunteer who met Sam and Gus told us, “As young Labs, these two would do best in a household where walks and adventures are a part of life. They are true Labs through and through!” A six foot fence will be best for these athletic and sociable young fellows.
With Gus on one side and Sam on the other, a swirl of happiness awaits you So grab a couple tennis balls for tossing and some leashes and come meet this inseparable pair of boys . . . we bet you won’t be going home alone!
