My Story
Meet Gus! This stud of a pup is all around the best of sidekicks who's ready to find his forever family. If you're looking for a very polite and loving pup, look no further.
Gus is the perfect mix of mellow and play, at 5-years-old and 60 pounds, he's best described as funny, loving, silly, sweet, loyal, intuitive & a great listener. He loves to snuggle, play ball or tug, go for walks/hikes & snuggle up on the coach to simply relax. Don't let his size fool you, he will do somersaults in the grass and bring a smile to your face daily.
Want a dog excited for a treat? Watch this boy's face light up when he realizes he's getting a snack. He will jump with four feet in the air when he's really happy or excited and might just be part kangaroo.
Gus is fully house-trained and very behaved when you need to leave him home solo. He's also not particularly vocal and could live in a home with shared walls (e.g., townhome). He has no issues free roam, and tends to like it that way.
Gus absolutely loves kids and has a great temperament. Due to his size, he'd do best in a home without the youngest kiddos (toddlers and under),to avoid an accidental knock-over, but would have no issues with visits. Elementary kids and up, he'd fit in seamlessly and be the happiest he could be.
Gus has recently started going to daycare to show off his social side and is doing great with all his canine friends! A home familiar with introducing a new pup could work as Gus does like other dogs, he's just a bit less confident with the smallest of pups. As for cats, best he avoid those. Otherwise, he wants to be friends with everyone he meets.
If you're looking for a medium energy level dog, a snuggle bug with a heart of gold and a wonderful companion, Gus may be the family member you didn't know you needed.
