Gus was a stray dog that showed up on 9-9-08 after hurrricane Gustav. He had no collar. He is solid white with brown freckles on his ears. I had him checked out by our local vet and he is approx. 1-2 yrs. old and maybe a shepherd/terrier mix. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He is updated on all his shots and neutered too. He is a very friendly dog with a gentle temperment. He gets along great with my 2 kids and is very social with my other dogs. He is well mannered and does not jump up on you and walks well on a leash. He would be a great family dog because he is so calm, yet playful.
