My Story

Meet Gunnie, a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix tipping the scales at a solid 65 lbs of pure, unadulterated canine enthusiasm. Gunnie’s the guy who’s got vitality in spades but knows how to keep it classy around the house—yes, he’s a potty training graduate with honors. Looking for a partner in crime for those weekend hikes or someone to turn your morning jog into a joyous jaunt? Gunnie’s your man. With energy that’s contagious but not overwhelming, he’s all about balancing adventure with those precious chill moments at home. Gunnie is a heart-on-his-furry-sleeve kind of dude, never shy to express his sweet nature. He’s all about the mutual exchange of adoration, equally enthusiastic about giving slobbery kisses as he is about snuggling up for some well-deserved affection. One little quirk in the mix: Gunnie tends to vibe better with dogs his own size. It seems the little guys just can’t handle his brand of fun. But don’t let that deter you; Gunnie's main ambition in life is to be your steadfast companion, whether you’re scaling a mountain or just vegging out on the couch. So, if your life could use a dash of spirit, a pinch of playfulness, and a whole lot of love, Gunnie is on standby, ready to leap into the role of your loyal and adventurous new best friend. He's not just looking for a forever home; he's looking for a forever playmate, confidant, and cuddle buddy. +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/210515484620146 +++++++ Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers!
