Gunner

Gunner here again! I was adopted at the Lowes event, but my adopter has never had a puppy, so my puppy behaviors have become problematic for her keeping me long term. I'm shy, scared of loud sounds, but do well with family members when they come to visit. I am very sweet, and my current adopter, has agreed to keep me until I can find that right family. She is keeping me out of a far too crowded shelter. I am so thankful for that. She says I am a very good dog, just more of a puppy that she had anticipated. I am being potty trained, I sleep in my crate overnight and love it much more than shelter life. My adopter just feels bad that I stay in the crate while she's at work or commuting back and forth. She says I deserve a home with a friendly dog that would want to play and keep me more active, and where I'm not constantly kept in a crate. I play hard with my toys and sometimes can make a mess when I get too excited and chew them up, but remember, I'm a puppy. I get along well with other dogs that are my size as I've been to several events where I play and roll in the grass with my friends from the shelter. So if you have a friendly dog that is just right for me already in your family,, I'll bet we can become fast friends. I have not been cat tested, and will probably chase them as it's in my nature to play. I am still looking for my forever family and am hoping my next adopter will make a more perfect fit for me. But as you can see, the pictures of my adopter sent, has brought out my joy and happiness and has allowed me to be my very best.
