Gunner is a happy-go-lucky pup that is just over a year old and full of life. He was adopted from the shelter as an 8-week-old baby and is looking for a forever commitment this time around. If we're being honest, Gunner is struggling in the shelter environment and needs a hero to give him a chance. His brain is way too smart to be cooped up for long periods of time. Gunner lived with another dog, a cat, and is a very playful guy. He would really enjoy another dog to romp and play with but if you are engaging enough with him, he could also be your one and only. Gunner is housebroken and has been exposed to a crate as well. Gunner would do best in a home with a single, active person. If that is you, call the shelter at 906 632 2519. If you do have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is required before bringing Gunner home.
**Gunner has a medical condition called megaesophagus. His case is mild but it does cause him to regurgitate food if he does not eat in an upright position. At the shelter, we hang his bowls up high on his kennel door so he has to stand to eat and it works well!**
