Gunnar is a 4 year old pure bred Blue Doberman that has a sad story. His former family who owned him Moved away and told no one that they had left Gunner in their nonair-conditioned garage. There he stayed and struggled to stay alive. Someone ….somehow ....became aware he was there and made some calls. One of them was to Critter Cavalry Rescue. We have him now in our care. He is the best dog and we cannot imagine why someone who had a great dog like Gunner would ever leave him so heartlessly in a hot garage with no food and water to sustain him. His coat is not so pretty as he has not been given good nutritional care or attention. He is fully vetted and healthy. We are working on giving him better food and that will improve his fur and give him a shiny coat sometime soon. When we say perfect dog…..we mean it! Gunnar is very calm and knows his basic commands. Just a gentleman in the house. He is house trained and great with other dogs. . He loves to ride in a car and is a gentle giant of a dog. Don’t miss out on this handsome Dobie boy. He is also fine with cats. They don’t come any better Than Gunner.
