GUINNESS

Guinness is a happy, cuddly guy who would like to join your family and smother you with kisses. He is: * Cheerful and wiggly * Friendly and affectionate * Fine around other dogs he sees in public * Pretty easy to walk (pulls a bit) Here's what his foster mom has to say: "Guinness is a super cuddly guy. He always greets us with at least one toy in his mouth and the wiggliest butt. He loves walks and behaves very well on leash. He's interested in other dogs but very easy to redirect. He would gladly spend all day sleeping on the couch with his head in your lap. He's potty trained, crate trained (sleeps in there at night), and seems to have pretty decent recall. He knows sit, stay, no, paw, crate, and come. He's VERY food motivated and is a very quick learner. We haven't noticed any resource guarding or aggression toward humans at all, he loves to be petted from any and all people whenever possible. (However, he did bite our Roomba vacuum out of fear!) Overall, Guinness is a goofy, lovable, cuddly dude who is the perfect couch potato companion. He makes us laugh every day!" Guinness has been pretty gentlemanly when meeting other dogs at FAAS. He is no shrinking violet, though. He should get on with other confident dogs but his outgoing personality might intimidate shy ones. To make sure it's a good fit, bring your dog along when your family comes to meet Sir Guinness!
