Guiness

Note from Guinness: Yep, it’s Guinness like the beer, the actor Sir Alec, AND the Book of World Records! Leave it to me to be a conversation starter!

I was beginning to think that I was going to make it INTO the Guinness book. I was closely approaching what seemed to me, to be the longest time on record for a single dog in boarding and daycare! I am now in a wonderful foster home, where I get the royal treatment-hehe!

I love to play. I’m good at it. I like any kind of toy. I sometimes get a little carried away in my enthusiasm for new toys. I like to pretend that I’m a “seek and destroy missile”, and have actually swallowed a stray piece or two! I do enjoy playing an occasional game of what the staff calls “let me have it”. It’s not very dignified, but the simpletons enjoy it. A member of the wait staff chases me around, and begs me to give them my toy. I will release the toy to them, but only after they have been seated. I do enjoy taunting them with it ever so slightly, before depositing it directly into their hands. They seem to take such joy in that-ha!

Being the refined gentleman that I am, I get along great with the other 2 dogs in the household. My days are mostly spent reclining in a private suite (never did care for that “caged” feeling) listening to the incessant chatter of the telly, and occasionally ringing for room service. My nights are spent as top dog on the sleeping pile, so that everyone can hear my little Pittie snore!

I’m kind of a sensitive guy, a romantic. I see beauty where others don’t. I’m a lover not a fighter. I think in a past life that I was a poet/artist. Perhaps, I will leave my mark (no, not that kind of mark!) on society again. Speaking of marks, did I tell you that I have a pink scar on one hip?
