Gucci

Gucci is a 7 month old Pomeranian, weighing approximately 5 lbs. She has a very playful personality and she is still very much a puppy so she has a lot of energy. She loves to play tug-o-war with her toys and chase you around the house. She is a very social dog and loves to meet new people. She can be very cuddly at times and enjoys lying in my lap on the couch and cuddling up to me before we go to bed, but only when she is in the mood. She usually moves to her own bed at night though as she likes her own space.

Since being in our foster home, Gucci has learned some basic tricks like sit, lay down and shake a paw and has the potential to learn more. Gucci is still learning to go to the washroom outside but she is getting better. She loves to go for walks and sniff in all the snow. Gucci has not had consistent contact with dogs and children, however, when she approaches a dog in the street she is ready to play even if they are 3 times her size. She is comfortable with children over the age of 12 (she has not had contact with children below that age). I’m not sure how she would be with cats.

Gucci loves to be by your side at all times. She does have some separation anxiety and doesn’t like to be left alone. She would do best in a home environment where the owner is home the majority of the time and where she gets lots of love, playtime and attention.
