Guapo

Hello there, my name is Guapo, which means “handsome” in Spanish, and I’m just as charming as my name suggests! I’m told by the Vet staff they think I am a cattle dog/shepherd mix. I was born on May 3, 2024, alongside my wonderful litter mates. We’re all ready to find our forever homes! I’m the leader of my puppy pack and a bit of a bossy boy with my siblings. I love to play hard, giving them lots of love nips. I’m a chewer, like most puppies, and will need lots of supervision early on to make sure I’m not getting into anything I shouldn’t. I’ve met lots of friends, family, and neighbors, including kids ages 3 and 6. I did great with them, but remember, I’m still a teething puppy and will need to be taught not to play hard and use those puppy teeth. If you have kids in the home, my foster mom thinks it would be best if there were no little ones such as babies or toddlers while I’m learning. Remember, puppies take a lot of time and work to become great adult dogs and to be housetrained. Please keep this in mind before applying for me. I would do best in a home that is active and home a lot of the time so I have the opportunity to learn and be a silly puppy. So, are you ready to add a dash of Guapo charm to your life? I promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and a few puppy antics! Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $17, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
