He is a very happy dog and has never been abused. He was turned in to us for help in finding him a home because his owners are getting older and need a home without a horse, er, dog so asked us to help place him. And they did not want him in a shelter. He likes being outdoors.
We have all his health records and he has been very well taken care of until we met Grubbes.
This big boy has never been abused, but needs a bit more training. He is very mellow and laid back dog. Do you know how to train a big dog? He is having fun learning how to fetch. Smart boy here. He likes to learn.
Grubbes got along just fine with our test wiener in the photo, but is usually an only dog at his home. He will do well with other dogs and kids form what we can tell so far, but we weren't able to test him on cats.
You will need fencing for this breed so please do not apply if you do not have a fence to contain him. He isn't a run away, but we want to make sure he is safe for life as we promised his owners. Thanks.
To adopt sweet Grubbes please go to our web site at http://www.nonprofitnw.org/drnw and fill in our Waiting List Form from our To Adopt page. We know he isn't wiener so please fill in as you can and give us details if you know the needs of a Malamute. Thanks. His adoption fee is negotiable to the right home.
