My Story

All Planned Pethood dogs and puppies are altered (spayed/neutered) and fully vetted prior to adoption. Dog breed is a best guess by the vet and/or Petfinder breed expert findings. We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.

Groucho is a 10 lb, 9 year old 3-legged chihuahua who was unclaimed as a stray at a local pound. He's one of the friendliest chihuahuas we've met. He isn't bothered at all by his disability. He's active, loves to go for walks and loves going places in the car. Whoever he lived with before must have taken him for treats now and then because he knows about drive-through windows and bounces all over the place waiting for a treat when we go to one. He gets along great with other dogs but would be OK in a home where he was an "only" dog too. He is housetrained and likes to run around in the yard but would probably be fine with walks on a leash too. He has very soft fur and loves to be petted. Special Notes: Due to his foster mom's work schedule, Groucho isn't able to attend many adoption events. He still wants a home of his own though so if you're interested, complete an application and we'll arrange a time for you to meet him. Thanks!
