Grizz - SPONSORED ADOPTION FEE

GRIZZ'S ADOPTION FEE IS SPONSORED BY A GENEROUS DONOR - THIS MEANS HE IS FREE OF CHARGE TO AN APPROVABLE HOME. Abandoned by his owner along with another dog when they moved out, neighbours kept watch on them and brought them to MLDHS to re-home. He's a medium sized, young adult husky mix, with possibly some cattle/heeler dog. Grizz is so handsome and friendly. He went out on trial but they decided their living situation wasn't making Grizz terribly happy. He would likely do best on an acreage as this has been what he has been used to in his previous home and at his foster camp. He likes his outdoor time. Grizz would probably like to have a dog buddy but he did do ok alone at foster camp once his buddy (a male) there was adopted. He had no accidents in the trial home while he was there. He can be a fussy eater and did get into the garbage so needs a home that will correct him to teach him garbage is not for dogs and/or keep the garbage inaccessible to him. At foster camp he eats Science Diet food. Grizz is not good with cats so he will need a home with no felines. Grizz had been good friends and loose in our perimeter area regularly with another male (Zoose- now adopted) who by looks could be his relative! ON MARCH 3/24 Grizz moved up to our foster camp in northern SK - any potential adopter will need to give us time to arrange for Grizz's return to MLDHS - this can take between 7-14 days depending on the camp's transport schedule. He did well on the 4+ hour ride in the backseat of the camp SUV. Grizz has been neutered so is ready to go. See several video clips of him on our youtube site - search him there by his name.
