Gretel came to us through a partner shelter due to overcrowding - this is what they had to say about her! "Gretel was brought into the shelter with another dog as strays that were not claimed. She is approximately 4 years old. This playful girl is a toy enthusiast and delights in interactive play with her human friends. She was tested with a submissive female dog and was not a fan. Gretel loves the outdoors, playing with leaves, jumping over puddles and reveling in long walks. Daily physical and mental stimulation are crucial for her wellbeing. Regular exercise and engaging activities not only keep them physically fit but also contribute to their mental health and happiness. Obedience classes could be a great opportunity for Gretel to learn essential commands and address her jumping behavior. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping Gretel shine in her interactions with people as well as help her build a trusting bond with her family.
