Gretchen

I am Gretchen and I'm so grateful to be in rescue. I've spent all of my two and a half years being a mama. The vets suggest I've had numerous litters. My latest batch of babies are being cared for in a great RROC foster home and they will soon be old enough to go to carefully screened new homes. That means I'm ready to find a new home, too! I'm just a little girl, at 50 lbs, and my tail never stops wagging. I'm housetrained, crate trained, and just fine with other dogs and with cats. There aren't kids in my foster home but everyone thinks I'd be a perfect lady around children. I don't know any commands at all because my previous owner didn't think that was important when just producing puppies for him to sell. I'm smart and I want so much to please that I will pick up whatever you want me to learn. After all, I'm a yellow Lab! I'm sweet and calm. I just can't stop grinning at being in rescue, knowing I'll never have to have more litters. I am so excited to meet people who will appreciate me just for myself!

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fee for dogs under 9 months is $225, dogs between 9 months and 8 years is $195 and our super seniors are $175. Please visit our website for more information. Thank you!
