Rest in Peace Grandpa! You are going to be missed.

We are sorry to announce the passing of Lit’l Grandpa. We wish we could have saved him sooner, but we are thrilled that he was in a loving home for the last 2 1/2 months of his life.
He was in a shelter and past his “PTS” date. One of our volunteers saw him cuddled up in his cage and called the TLC director, who of course said bring him home. By the way, please excuse his Pink sweater, it is the only thing his foster mom has in his size and he needed a sweater for those cold days & nights.
He was about 14-20 yrs old and weighed under 4 lbs. His eye surgery was a success and his remaining teeth were pulled, thus the tongue that hangs out all the time.  He lost his eye and nearly lost his jaw and other eye just because someone didn't take care of his teeth. Infection spread from his slimy green teeth. He had also received a 1/2 treatment to kill his heartworms.

We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION, therefore, please contact us to receive an Adoption Application. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. if you have current pets, they must be spayed and/or neutered, current on their vaccinations, and on Heartworm preventative. ALL of our pets are spayed or neutered prior to being Adopted. They are UTD on shots, Heartworm negative, & micro chipped. Our adoption fee is $175 unless noted otherwise. Puppies will have an increased adoption rate of $225.
