Grady

We always wish our dogs could talk to tell us their history. It's really just a guessing game, and while Grady is no exception to that, he has a more mysterious past than any dog we've met. He is most likely a Rottweiler/ Shepard mix, somewhere around 8 years old, a little gimpy,underweight (at about 75 pounds), doesn't hear well, and has muscle atrophy to the the skull that very likely affects his eyesight. To top it all off, he in not thriving at the shelter. He is depressed and lonely and seems to have given up finding happiness. Occasionally, when he is being spoiled with some one-on-one time with a volunteer or getting a rare few hours away from the shelter, we see the dog that Grady could be. The sparkle in his eyes returns and we catch a glimpse of all the life that is left in him. Grady would be happiest as an only dog and we think he deserves to be happy so, if you, or someone you know, would like to have a loyal, mellow, follow you around, and hang out at your feet, kind of dog, give us a call and come meet Grady. The fee to adopt Grady is $99, he current on his shots and is microchipped.
