I'll be available for adoption at Pet Food Express, 3910 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303 on Saturday 8/29 from 3:30 P.M.- 6:30 P.M. and Sunday 8/30 from 11:00-1:00pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to pursue an adoption, please complete an application so we can set up an appointment with you!
Gracie is a wonderfully sweet 1-2 year old Schnauzer-Terrier-possibly even a little Poodle who enjoys playing ball, wrestling with her canine friends at doggy daycare and snuggling with her foster mom. She's just a tad shy with strangers and hasn't seen much of the outside world, so her new family will need to be committed to socializing her.
Gracie can happily live as an only pet or she can share her home with another dog or a cat. She has enjoyed the company of the children she has met since coming into her foster home so we will consider placing her with a family with children over the age of 12, provided they understand she will likely be shy initially and she will not enjoy roughhousing or the like.
Gracie's foster mom reports Gracie rarely barks (which makes her a good option for apartment or condo living) and she is housebroken when provided access to a yard via a doggy door.
