My Story

Gordie has found his forever home with Richard and Kim C. in Bristol, CT! Check out adorable Gordie! This little fella was rescued from a kill shelter and is staying in our vet clinic. Gordie is 3 years old and only weighs 12.5 lbs. He is typical yorkie: loves people (does well with children too!) and is fairly active. Since he is in a kennel he can bark a bit for attention: difficult to tell if he is entirely housebroken since he is left overnight in the kennel for so many hours but his accidents are minimal. His adoption fee is $450

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
