Goose 24043

Goose is a good boy that will take some time to warm up to his humans. Before coming to RMCR Goose lived as an outside dog. He has some fears that are still being worked through, although he has come a long way from when we first met him. Goose needs a home with no children, and either a small dog or alone. He is dog selective and wants to be the alpha dog in the house. Goose has a strong preference for women over men and he warms up much more quickly to women than men. He does not mind men once he realizes they are not a threat, however it takes a long time for him to trust new people. He is severely afraid of the vacuum cleaner and will need to be crated when vacuuming. He also does not like being handled for the vet and will need to wear a muzzle when he goes in for appointments. Goose is fully potty trained and at night or when we are away from the house he is in his crate. Goose is a smart boy and is highly food motivated. He waits patiently for his meals and he knows sit, and come, and he has been taught to stay out of the kitchen when we need him to. He is a great running buddy and he loves going for walks or enjoying the backyard with his human. He is also the most loyal dog to his foster mom, and he follows her everywhere. He loves lying down beside the bed and getting cuddles and attention. With patience and positive reinforcement Goose would be a wonderful addition to someones home.
