Gomez

Meet Gomez! Gomez is a beautiful 5 month old German Shepherd mix, and he is approximately 25 lbs. He is crate and house trained, he can sleep in his crate at night if he has to. He has the option in his foster home to either sleep in his crate at night or sleep wherever he chooses as the door to his crate is always left open. Gomez is such a good boy that he doesn’t even roam around at night, he just peacefully sleeps all night right next to his foster mom. Gomez is super kid and dog friendly. He has a great temperament and is such a sweet and calm boy that he can easily form a bond with all dogs and humans of the home. He is currently living in a foster home with 4 other dogs, and he is really good at respecting the other dog’s personal boundaries. German shepherds are known for their intelligence, and Gomez is no exception to this. He is incredibly smart and is able to quickly pick up new commands. He loves food and treats, this makes it rather easy to train him as he is extremely food motivated. He is not an extremely hyper active dog for his breed, he is pretty content with napping a good portion of the day and spending a few hours playing and running around with other dogs.
