My Story

Meet Ginny, short for Ginevra, a full-grown, but petite, 41 pound, one-year-old Australian Shepherd/Lab or Retriever mix. Kind souls recently rescued Ginny and her sister Lily from the old Mueller Airport site, a popular dumping ground for unwanted dogs. Because these sweet girls showed great courage and resourcefulness after they were abandoned and forced to “rough it and live off the land.” their foster mom decided to name them after two brave Gryffindors. Somehow Lily and Ginny seemed far suited to them than did Hermione and Lavender. Can you tell that their foster mom loves Harry Potter?

You would not know that she had a rough start to life because Ginny has a wonderful personality full of love and affection. Giving kisses and getting belly rubs are high on her list of priorities and she loves to cuddle! Ginevra is learning all of her house and doggie manners, including crate and house training, and she gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. Ginny is a gorgeous girl with soft black fur with a pretty white chest that has some cute black spots on it and she also has two black speckled white socks on her back feet.

Ginny has all her shots, is spayed and microchipped, and is current on preventatives.

If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, who would make a great family pet in a house or apartment, please contact her foster mom Angela @ 784-7127 or [email protected] . Let Ginny into your life and she will show you the meaning of love and loyalty!
