My Story

Ginette is a one-year-old German Shepherd dog who was found as a stray. This breed is known to be very active. The family adopting Ginette will need to be prepared to do lots of activities with her. A simple walk won’t be enough to satisfy her need for exercise; you’ll need to offer her running sessions, training periods and interactive games to make her feel good in her paws. Ginette is a rather timid dog at first, requiring a gentle approach to training and to situations that may frighten her. A stable, secure environment is essential to help her gain confidence. However, once she’s confident, she’s a real ball of love who loves to be cuddled endlessly. She also loves bringing the ball back, playing tug and running with the volunteers. As for children, they should be aged 12 and over, and be calm and respectful. With the right conditions, Ginette will blossom into a wonderful companion for her future family. Ginette must be spayed before leaving the shelter.
