Gilbert is about 4 years old and is neutered and fully vetted. He came from a rural shelter where he was found as a stray, matted and unkempt.
He is about 12 pounds and has since been groomed as you can see by his handsome appearance.
Gilbert is fun and affectionate but does take time to warm up to new people so he will need someone who will be understanding of his social issues and not push him too quickly into situations that make him feel threatened.
He is not a vocal dog, so we would consider apartment condo dwellers for him
Gilbert does not appear to be that social with other dogs, but since he was recently neutered, we have had to have him in recovery, so we'll try this week to see if he is comfortable being around other dogs.
