Gil

My name is Gil and I am a Lab/Shepherd Mix. I was born around July 4, 2009 and I will probably be over 65 lbs.

I am pretty mellow for a lab mix, but don't let that fool you--I still have an abundance of energy to use up. I am great with people of all ages, but I do have a special attraction to children. I like cats too--even though one gave me a light swipe across my nose--I will know better next time. And I always like to meet a new dog. I enjoy balls and stuffed animals--and chew toys. I am doing great with my crate training and we have just started basic obedient training.

I could be your most loyal friend. I am that kind of a dog. I would love to do fun things with you and be included in all your activities. I know I will be a very special addition to any household. Lets meet! Fill out the application below.

Adoption fees:
$250.00: Puppies 6 months and under
$250.00: Dogs under 30 pounds
$175.00: Dogs over 30 pounds, over 6 months
There will be a $50.00 refund with proof of obedience class.

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate, HW testing for adult dogs over 6 months and deworming, HW preventative and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
