My Story

Meet Ghost: Ghost is a 4-year-old pup who has faced more challenges than any dog should. Rescued from a cruelty and hoarding case, he found solace at a local shelter, where his gentle spirit quickly won over the hearts of staff and volunteers. Now, due to an impending move, Ghost is in need of a new foster home or, even better, a forever adopter who can provide him with the quiet, loving environment he thrives in. Ghost's Favorites: Car Rides: The open road brings out his adventurous side, making him a perfect travel companion. Treats: His eyes light up for cheese and peanut butter, his absolute favorites. Neck Scratches: Ghost has an adorable way of asking for neck scratches-he'll lift his head high and inch closer until he gets that perfect scratch. Toys: Playtime with his toys is one of his joys. Being Outside: Whether it's lounging in the yard or going for a walk, Ghost loves the fresh air. Lounging: He's a pro at relaxation, often found lounging in his favorite spots. Ghost's Dislikes: Thunderstorms: Loud noises and storms can be scary for Ghost, so he needs a comforting presence during these times. Overstimulating Situations: Crowds and too much activity can overwhelm him; he prefers peace and quiet. Exercise and Trust: Ghost enjoys short walks, but if the adventure is exciting-like a hike-he's up for longer treks. Baths aren't his favorite, but he willingly hops in the tub when it's time. Patience and gradual introductions are key with Ghost; once he trusts you, he's incredibly loyal and loving. Ideal Home: Ghost is more of an introverted dog and would do best with an owner who appreciates a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle. He's great on a leash and tolerant of other dogs, though we're still learning about his social interactions. Can You Be Ghost's Person? Ghost's journey has been one of resilience and hope. He's searching for a special someone who can offer him love and stability.
