Gertrude was rescued from the Humane Society where she was on the euthanasia list for fear. Gertrude’s previous life has not been easy. She was surrendered from a house who had too many pets and the family was overwhelmed. She is very shy and a bit fearful. She loves the company of dogs, and she will need to go into a household who has other dogs. She is a senior with a few medical concern that can be managed. Gertrude deserves so much love in her senior years and the commitment of a forever family who with patience and understanding that she just needs a little extra, extra time to feel comfortable, sensitivity, patience and love.
